I started producing the 5 o'clock newscast in July 2021. It's an hour long newscast where we feature our top local and national stories in the A-block and breaking news updates typically happens, such as election results. I determine the order of which the stories are told, setting up live shots for our reporters, write/change scripts, assign anchor and reporter reads, and find ways where we can expand coverage.
